As we gathered for worship this past Sunday, 220 people joined us as Pastor Kris taught from Philippians 1:21-30 (ESV) with the message, "Stand Firm"

On Sunday, September 27, 2026 there is a called congregational meeting and special meeting of members following the contemporary service at 11:15am in Souers Hall.  After congregational meeting, members will be voting on the position of Senior Pastor.  Please plan to attend.  

This past weekend, a group of women from The Church at Litchfield Park traveled to Sedona for the Arise AZ Women’s Conference. The September 18–19 conference brought women together for a weekend of worship, biblical teaching, encouragement, and fellowship.

The theme for this year’s conference was “UNAFRAID — My God Will Make A Way.” Throughout the weekend, the women had opportunities to worship together, hear from inspiring speakers, spend time in small groups, and connect with other women from churches across Arizona.

We are grateful for the women who participated and for the memories, conversations, laughter, worship, and encouragement they shared along the way. We hope you'll enjoy these photos from their weekend!

Coffee Fellowship is a wonderful time to connect, catch up, and welcome one another between services—and we need your help to keep it going!

On the first Sunday of each month, we invite members to sign up to bring donut holes to share. It’s a simple way to serve and help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our church family and guests.

Would you consider signing up to bring a dozen? Your small contribution helps make our time together a little sweeter!

A warm welcome can make all the difference when someone walks through our doors. This fall, we are excited to introduce a new Welcome Team at our 10:00 a.m. worship service, with the goal of helping everyone who arrives at CLP feel seen, welcomed, and at home.

Each Sunday, our Welcome Team will have greeters stationed outside the church from 9:45–10:05 a.m. to welcome people as they arrive, answer questions, offer directions, and help create a friendly and inviting first impression before worship begins.

Ideally, we would love to have a greeter at each of these locations:

• Bell Tower
• Main Door
• North Door
• South Door
• Parking Lot

This is a simple but meaningful way to serve our church family and our guests. Whether someone is attending for the first time or has been part of CLP for years, a friendly smile and a sincere “Good morning!” can help them feel that they belong.

HYC serves youth ages 13 - 21 who are experiencing homelessness and who are trying to stay in high school and graduate. HYC provides assistance to help them navigate the many barriers that can impede their education and limit their future stability and self-sufficiency.

Throughout September, we are collecting new or gently used Bibles to place God’s Word into the hands of those who need it.

Our primary focus is softcover Bibles for local prison ministry, where access to Scripture can offer hope, encouragement, and the life-changing truth of the gospel. We are also collecting hardcover Bibles to keep at the church and give to those who come through our doors without a Bible of their own.

Please consider donating a Bible and helping us make Scripture readily available to our neighbors both inside and outside our church walls.

Get creative and join us for a fun Table & Treat during the Midweek@CLP dinner on Wednesday, October 28!

Decorate a table around a fun theme, bring your creativity, and come dressed in costume to match your theme! Bring a special treat to give out to the kids.  

Sign up to decorate a table, bring candy and be part of the fun! Gather your family, friends, small group, or ministry team and let your imagination run wild. Non-scary costumes are requested!

Men, join us for a study of Unbreakable Courage by Max Lucado. Together, we’ll explore what it means to live with courage, stand firm in our faith, and trust God when life gets difficult. This study offers an opportunity to dig deeper into Scripture, grow in your relationship with God, and connect with other men through meaningful conversation and fellowship.

Whether you’re new to Bible study or have been studying Scripture for years, all men are welcome! Come discover how God can give you the courage to face whatever lies ahead.

This is an informal book club, so there are no weekly meetings or assignments. Simply purchase your own copy of the book, read it independently before our gathering, and come ready for a relaxed evening of good food, fellowship, and discussion.We'll gather on Friday, October 9, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. for a cozy potluck dinner featuring soups, salads, and crusty bread while we talk about the book, its four women, their spiritual journeys, and what their stories stirred in us.Sign-ups are open now! About two weeks before our gathering, everyone who is registered will receive a separate potluck sign-up so you can choose what you'd like to bring.Our gathering location will be determined based on participation.So grab your copy of Sensible Shoes, start reading, and join us around the table on October 9!
