THIS SATURDAY"Abide in me, and I in you." — John 15:4 - Saturday, August 29, 2026 Join us on Saturday, August 29 | 2:00–4:00 p.m. As summer comes to a close and a new ministry season begins, we invite you to set aside a couple of hours to pause, reconnect, and prepare your heart for all that God has in store this fall. Join the women of CLP for an afternoon of fellowship, encouragement, laughter, meaningful conversation, and, of course, delicious food. Together we'll spend time connecting with one another, reflecting on God's faithfulness, and looking ahead to the opportunities He has for us to grow, serve, and abide in Him through the busy months ahead. Whether you've been part of Women@CLP for years or you're looking for a place to connect for the very first time, we'd love for you to join us. Bring a friend, meet new women, and leave encouraged for the season ahead. This gathering will also provide an opportunity to learn more about our upcoming Abide Bible study and connect with other women as we prepare to begin a new season of growing together in God's Word. Come expectant. Come hungry—for good food, meaningful friendships, and God's Word. We can't wait to spend the afternoon with you! For more infomation visit:

Women@CLP: Abide Bible StudyJoin us as we study 1, 2, and 3 John! There are few things more important for believers today than learning how to recognize truth, remain rooted in Christ, and love one another well. In a world filled with competing voices, uncertainty, and division, the letters of 1, 2, and 3 John call us back to what matters most: abiding in Jesus. Beginning this September, Women@CLP invites you to join us for Abide, a 10-week Bible study by respected Bible teacher and author Jen Wilkin. Together, we'll walk verse by verse through John's three letters, discovering how they continue to speak powerfully to the Church today. Written to believers facing deception, doubt, and division, John's message encourages us to remain steadfast in the truth of God's Word, find assurance in our salvation, and reflect Christ's love in our daily lives. Whether you are new to Bible study or have spent years studying Scripture, this study will deepen your understanding of God's Word and strengthen your confidence in living faithfully as a disciple of Jesus. Our prayer is that each woman will grow in her love for Christ, develop greater discernment in an age of confusion, and experience the joy and assurance that come from abiding in Him. September 11th Candlelight Remembrance8:30-10:30 am in our sanctuary Join us for a time of reflection and remembrance as we mark 25 years since the tragic events of September 11, 2001. On September 11, our sanctuary will be open to the community from 8:30–10:30 a.m. as a quiet space to remember, reflect, and pray. Come for a few moments or stay as long as you wish. You are invited to place a flag on the cross outside, light a candle in memory of a loved one, spend time in prayer, or pray with a member of our prayer team. Throughout the morning, our church bell will toll at significant moments from that day—once to mark each impact and three times to remember the fall of each tower. We remember those whose lives were lost, including the firefighters, law enforcement officers, paramedics, and countless others who gave of themselves in service to others. May we join together in prayer for peace and proclaim with one voice: We Remember. |
