Orpheus Male Chorus of Phoenix Concert

Holidays With Orpheus - Sunday, December 4, 2022

Orpheus Male Chorus presents our annual “Holidays with Orpheus: Celebrate the Season” concert series. We will premiere three pieces and feature traditional and contemporary holiday songs, including “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” “Jingle Bells,” “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “Light One Candle,” a song popularized by Peter, Paul and Mary. Christmas In the Park Parade

Saturday, December 10, 9:30am, 477 Old Litchfield Rd

A group from our church will be walking in Christmas in the Park, a parade in Litchfield Park on Saturday, December 10. We are looking for walkers of all ages to be part of this parade, sharing our wonderful church with the community. Please wear red or green tops or Christmas clothes. We will meet near the lake at 477 Old Litchfield Rd. The parade will end near the library in Litchfield Park. We will gather at 9:30 am, the parade begins at 10 am. There will be a signup sheet in the breezeway between services, or you can sign up online by clicking the link below.

The Light of the World Women's Tea

Saturday, December 10, 2-3:30pm in Souers Hall

Christmas Poinsettias

Would you like to remember a loved one, honor someone, or simply spread the spirit of Christmas with a poinsettia? We will accept poinsettia plants (6” pots please, any color) in the church office during regular hours (9am-4pm) Monday-Wednesday, December 12-14. The poinsettias will be displayed in the sanctuary and Souers Hall December 18-25, with the honorees’ names listed in the bulletin on the 18th.

The Christmas Angel Tree

November 27 - December 11

This year our Christmas Angel Tree gifts will be given to Homeless Youth Connection. We will be giving them gift cards in the amounts of $15.00, $25.00 and $50.00. The tree will be set up November 27, December 4 and 11. There will also be a list of suggested places to purchase these cards. All gift cards will need to be given back to the church by December 11. You can also write a check to the church for angel tree and the committee will get the gift card for you.

Christmas Eve Worship Services

Saturday, December 24 at 5pm, 6:30pm, 8pm

The 5pm service features the worship band, 6:30 features the chancel choir and strings, and 8pm features the Bell Choir.

End-of-year giving statements will be mailed on January 12, 2023. Please note that quarterly statements in 2023 will be emailed unless you contact the office to let us know you prefer a physical mailing.

Construction Updates

December 12 - February 28

Expect minor traffic delays from December 12 - February 28 as the City of Litchfield Park continues construction on Fairway and North Old Litchfield. Parking should be minimally affected, and we will keep you updated as we learn more.
