CLP Kids, Youth, and Nursery HighlightsSpeak, Lord, for your servant is listening! What a fantastic Sunday at CLP!
In CLP Kids, we explored the story of Samuel—a young boy who heard God calling his name in the night. We learned that just like Samuel, we, too, can listen for God's voice and respond, "Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening!"
In Confirmation Class, we had a great discussion about the doctrine of the Incarnation—how God became flesh in Jesus Christ and what that means for our faith. Then, during worship, Pastor Ted’s sermon beautifully complemented and expanded on these themes, helping us reflect on how God speaks, moves, and works in our lives.
God is good!
As we continue through this season of Lent, we encourage all of our kids and families to stay engaged with their personal Lenten Journals and their family Table Talk devotionals. If you haven’t picked up your Mission’s Table Talk Jar, be sure to do so! Part of Kelly's Lent journal is showing LOVE through donating toys to less fortunate children (see the image of Kelly- she is one of the most kindhearted girls I know!).
It’s a wonderful way to worship together at home, reflect on God’s love, and find ways to serve through the many missions we support at CLP.
Let’s keep our hearts open to God’s voice, just like Samuel did!
See you next Sunday!
Pastor Brenda |
