Sunday's Sermon: Come HomeThe Parable of the Prodigal This isn’t just a story about a lost son—it’s a story about grace that restores, love that runs, and a Father who never stops watching the road. But it doesn’t stop there. We are not just welcomed—we are sent. Not just forgiven—but commissioned. We are now ambassadors of grace, messengers of mercy, and agents of reconciliation. Wherever you are in the story, the invitation still stands: COME HOME. For more infomation visit: https://www.youtube.com/live/yoUagwPUF5E?si=JHfQliXgiWRsl1L1&t=1208

CLP Kids + Youth
In CLP Kids, we met King Solomon and discovered how, when given the chance to ask for anything, he chose wisdom (1 Kings 10). We talked about how seeking God's wisdom helps us live lives of purpose, love, and truth. This Sunday, We’re going to be preparing to “egg” our friends, family, and neighbors... but not in the messy way! Each child will put together a special “You’ve Been Egged!” gift—complete with Easter eggs filled with candy, encouraging notes, and a personal invitation to celebrate Easter at The Church at Litchfield Park. This is a fun and creative way for kids to share the joy of Jesus' resurrection and invite others to hear the Good News on Easter Sunday! To bring Solomon’s story to life, the kids worked together to build a model of the Temple using magnetic tiles! It was a powerful reminder that Solomon didn’t just build a beautiful building—he built a space to worship God. The Temple represented God’s presence with His people. Pastor Kris led our Confirmation students through a teaching on the Doctrine of the Church, helping them understand what it means to be the Body of Christ—set apart, united in love, and called to serve. This is our last Sunday of Confirmation and we'll be exploring the Doctrine of End Times. Come celebrate them and all that God is doing in their lives on Palm Sunday! In CLP Youth, we reflected on the Parable of the Prodigal Son from Luke 15 and enjoyed fellowship. We are so blessed by our CLP Youth!
*Families, keep using your Lenten Journals and sharing the Lenten Table Talk devotionals—great tools to keep Christ at the center of your conversations this season! |
