Special Congregational Meeting

Special Congregational Meeting

Harold Matz, the President of the Board of Directors, has called a special congregational meeting for Sunday, April 6th at 11:15 AM, in Souers Community Hall.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the findings of the review of concerns brought to the Board of Directors regarding Senior Pastor Ted Brandt.

Sunday's Sermon: Come Home

Sunday's Sermon: Come Home

The Parable of the Prodigal

This isn’t just a story about a lost son—it’s a story about grace that restores, love that runs, and a Father who never stops watching the road. But it doesn’t stop there. We are not just welcomed—we are sent. Not just forgiven—but commissioned. We are now ambassadors of grace, messengers of mercy, and agents of reconciliation.

Wherever you are in the story, the invitation still stands: COME HOME.

CLP Kids + Youth

CLP Kids + Youth

In CLP Kids, we met King Solomon and discovered how, when given the chance to ask for anything, he chose wisdom (1 Kings 10). We talked about how seeking God's wisdom helps us live lives of purpose, love, and truth.

This Sunday,  We’re going to be preparing to “egg” our friends, family, and neighbors... but not in the messy way!

Each child will put together a special “You’ve Been Egged!” gift—complete with Easter eggs filled with candy, encouraging notes, and a personal invitation to celebrate Easter at The Church at Litchfield Park. This is a fun and creative way for kids to share the joy of Jesus' resurrection and invite others to hear the Good News on Easter Sunday!

To bring Solomon’s story to life, the kids worked together to build a model of the Temple using magnetic tiles! It was a powerful reminder that Solomon didn’t just build a beautiful building—he built a space to worship God. The Temple represented God’s presence with His people.

Pastor Kris led our Confirmation students through a teaching on the Doctrine of the Church, helping them understand what it means to be the Body of Christ—set apart, united in love, and called to serve. This is our last Sunday of Confirmation and we'll be exploring the Doctrine of End Times. Come celebrate them and all that God is doing in their lives on Palm Sunday!

In CLP Youth, we reflected on the Parable of the Prodigal Son from Luke 15 and enjoyed fellowship. We are so blessed by our CLP Youth!

*Families, keep using your Lenten Journals and sharing the Lenten Table Talk devotionals—great tools to keep Christ at the center of your conversations this season!

Women@CLP: The Well Watered Woman

Women@CLP: The Well Watered Woman

Join us for our summer read - Thursday, May 8, 2025

Join Women@CLP for a Summer Read!

In the busy chaos of our everyday, it can be difficult to live out and apply the truths of Scripture. We want more of Jesus, but we find ourselves looking to our own lives and accomplishments for our worth and identity. And while that may buoy us for a time, we're often left feeling dried up, discouraged, and longing for more.

This summer, Women@CLP invites you to refresh your soul and deepen your faith with our summer book study of The Well-Watered Woman by Gretchen Saffles. Together, we’ll explore what it means to be rooted in Christ, nourished by His Word, and flourishing in faith.

We’ll meet weekly beginning:
Thursday, May 8 (5:00–6:00 PM) OR Tuesday, May 13 (10:30–11:30 AM)
Location: Fireside North and South

In this study, you’ll discover:

  • The Well of fullness – where the gospel is planted in our lives and our roots take hold in the truth.
  • The Word of freedom – our journey of growing, changing, and being transformed into Jesus’ likeness.
  • The Way of fruitfulness – how obedience and love keep us flourishing in Christ.

Through Scripture, personal reflection, and rich discussion, we’ll encourage one another in the pursuit of a thriving life in Christ.
