The Table@CLP is an intergenerational space where adults, kids, and teens can be themselves, share a meal, support one another, and grow together.  Each Wednesday from 5:15 - 6:30 pm we enjoy a free dinner, live music, a story about Jesus and conversation.

We have a blue apron for you at The Table!  We’re seeking sous chefs to serve with Chef Carla in her fun kitchen and other folks to serve the happy diners coming through the buffet.  It’s always a blessing to work as a team to create a warm family environment for everyone who comes through the doors.

Our church offers five $2000 scholarships to seniors who have been active in community service.  One is reserved for a church member, the others are open to any student who attends high school in the Agua Fria School District.  Applications are available at the church office, Monday - Thursday 9am-4pm.  You can also email info@clp.church and we will email the application to you.

This Sunday in CLP Kids, we explored the story of Ruth, Naomi, and Boaz, discovering how God turned sorrow into joy through Ruth’s faithfulness and kindness. The kids saw how Ruth’s love for Naomi and trust in God led to unexpected blessings, reminding us that God provides and cares for His people in ways we may not expect.

Our youth reflected on The Jesus Way by studying 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. They explored what love truly requires—patience, kindness, humility, and perseverance. Through discussion, they considered how living out Christ-like love challenges us to go beyond feelings and into action, changing our defaults, and choosing to love even when it’s difficult.

Both lessons reminded us that love is more than words; it’s a commitment to trust, serve, and reflect God’s heart daily.
