Undie Sunday Blessed Many!Thank you, Church Family The “Undie Sunday” drive was more than a collection of essentials; it was a true embodiment of Christ’s love and compassion in action. Often, we take basic items like undergarments for granted, but for those in need, they restore a sense of dignity and comfort. Jesus showed us that loving others includes tending to practical needs, affirming worth, and showing that no one is overlooked. Your generosity—donating 150 pairs of men’s underwear, 90 pairs of men’s socks, 25 undershirts, 290 pairs of women’s underwear, and 70 pairs of women’s socks—reflected this love so powerfully. Each donation, from socks to undershirts, offered more than warmth; it provided dignity and showed our neighbors that they matter deeply. Brenda Martin, who delivered the items, sent a note with a few images saying, “I am so proud of ‘my’ church!” Her pride is a testament to this spirit of generosity, reflecting our shared calling to be a community that loves and serves others wholeheartedly. This drive wasn’t just about giving; it was about restoring dignity, offering hope, and sharing the compassion of Christ in meaningful ways. |

Blessing of our AnimalsInvite Friends and Neighbors The blessing of the animals in a service of worship is a Christian tradition that dates back 1000 years to St. Francis of Assisi. This coming Sunday, on our front lawn, the 10 am service will feature an opportunity for pet parents to bring their non-human family members for a special blessing. This is a great opportunity for CLP members to invite our pet-loving friends to worship with us! Pets are welcome to "sit and stay" with their humans during worship and the festival that follows. Pastor Ted will preach on "God's New Creation" from Isaiah 11:1-9. The worship band, situated on the main office steps, is planning some engaging music for CLP members and visitors alike. Anyone with even a small bit of faith in Christ is welcome to come forward and receive communion. Let's use this outdoor worship service and festival on a forecasted 74-degree day to enlarge our CLP family by bringing neighbors and pets. For more infomation visit:

A Message from the Board of Directors
Annual Congregational and Corporate Meetings November 17th at 11 am in Souers Community Hall The Church at Litchfield Park This year has flown by quickly and once again it’s time for the church’s annual meetings. As stated in our constitution and by-laws anyone may attend these meetings but only church members may vote, and a quorum must be present to conduct business. Therefore, we will not be streaming the meetings. The main purpose of the congregational meeting is to recognize those that have passed away; to install Deacon nominees; and to recognize individuals that serve at CLP. The main purpose of the corporate meeting is to elect members to the Board of Directors and to approve the church's annual operating budget for 2025. Your Board of Directors and Pastoral staff are looking forward to seeing you on November 17th at 11 am in Souers Community Hall. Blessings, Marcy Clement President, Board of Directors |

Tuesday SOAP Study and Ignite! PrayerBible Study at 10:30; Prayer at 11:30 Join us each Tuesday at 10:30 am for Bible Study in the Fireside Room, followed by prayer at 11:30 am in the sanctuary. |
The Table@CLPAll are welcome at the table, there's a place just for you. The Table@CLP is an intergenerational space where adults, kids, and teens can be themselves, share a meal, and grow together. Each Wednesday from 5:15 - 6:30 pm we enjoy a free dinner, live music, a story about Jesus and conversation. This week, we're having Sloppy Joes! The story this week, from Mark 2:18-22, seems particularly appropriate as we approach "Reformation Day" on October 31, the anniversary of the day in 1517 when Martin Luther is said to have posted his Ninety-five Theses on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany later identified by Protestants as the beginning of the Protestant Reformation. In what ways might today's church need to reform to reach the coming generations in this twenty-first century? Please continue to bring friends; let us know if, after registering, you can't make it after all. Thank you! All are welcome at the table, there's a place just for you.
