Speaking at the InstallationBrenda, Marcy, and Tich A service of installation typically has Scripture, a brief sermon, and two "charges"; words of encouragement and challenge; one given to the congregation and one to the pastor. The sermon will be given by Rev. Brenda Houlihan. CLP Board of Directors President Marcy Clement will give the change to the congregation. Giving the charge to Pastor Ted via video will be one of Ted's ministry friends, Rev. Tich (pronounced "teach") Dzinotyiwei, a former student of Ted's at The Theological College of Zimbabwe (TCZ). Pastor Tich graduated from TCZ with a B.A. degree, followed by a B.A. (Honours) degree. Tich went on to become a junior lecturer at TCZ, then a pastor in Zimbabwe; he now serves as the Senior Pastor of Open Baptist Church in Botswana’s capital city, Gaborone. Tich and his wife Hilda have four children, pictured above. After Pastor Ted thanked Tich for providing a video, Tich graciously responded, writing: "Hey Ted. I should be the one thanking you, brother. It doesn't happen often that the student gets an opportunity to do this for their teacher. So, I am deeply, deeply honoured. The impact that TCZ has and continues to have on the spread of the Gospel around the world is immense. We are the fruit of your labor. And we will be forever grateful for you pouring into our lives. God bless you and Cathy as you take on this new role. May it be fruitful and satisfying beyond measure!!"

Wedding BlessingRSVPs still welcome Dear Church Family, As many of you know, although we got married in Los Angeles in June we have always planned to have a second ceremony at CLP – a celebration of the blessing of starting our new lives with our new church family. The wedding blessing will be on Veteran's Weekend. Our pastors Kris and Brenda are both service veterans. They will preside at the ceremony along with our sister-in-law, USN Rear Admiral Tracy Hines. Here's a brief introduction to Tracy. We will also honor the memories of our dads, both veterans. In lieu of gifts, contributions may be made to Operation Second Chance to support veterans and their families. Please click on the button below to RSVP. Thank you! With love, Ted and Cathy Brandt For more infomation visit:
