The delicious Wednesday night dinners at CLP are relaunching as The Table@CLP.

The new model for midweek hospitality and spiritual growth is called Dinner Church, which has its roots in the table theology of Jesus. Like Him, we will welcome all people to eat, drink, and share about Scripture, faith, and life.

This month's menu is:

September 11: Turkey Chili Dinner

September 19: Meatloaf Dinner

September 26: Pasta Dinner

Join us each Tuesday at 10:30 am for Bible Study in the Fireside Room, followed by prayer at 11:30 am in the sanctuary. 

The 2025 Stewardship Campaign is kicking off next Sunday, September 15! We acknowledge that all we have comes from God. As stewards of God's gifts, we manage ourselves and our possessions in service to God. Let's approach this Stewardship Campaign with prayerful hearts and minds as we hear meaningful sermons from our pastors and look toward our future. Stewardship pledge postcards will arrive in the mail this week and be available in the Sanctuary. Please bring the postcards to church to help us plan for the upcoming year.

Join our CLP Kids' Choir every Sunday between first and 2nd Service.

We’re organizing a series of gatherings in homes and local venues where you can spend time with Pastor Ted, hear his heart for our community, and share your hopes and dreams for our church. Whether you prefer hosting a gathering in your home or attending one nearby, we’d love for you to be a part of this special time.

Volunteers will sort and pack food at Skyway Church, west of Bullard on Van Buren, and then deliver to individual seniors at a low income apartment complex in Avondale.  We will meet at Skyway at 7AM.  Bulk Food Donations come from St. Mary's Food Bank.

Donuts that we enjoy on Celebration Sundays are generously provided each month by volunteers in our church family. Would YOU please consider signing up – either individually, with friends, or with family to split the cost – to bring assorted donuts and donut holes for coffee fellowship on the first Sundays of the month?

Can YOU volunteer to help maintain beautiful rose gardens on our church campus? Roses need to be pruned in fall and early spring. During the blooming period, spring to autumn, the bushes need to be “dead-headed.” Deadheading is removing spent blooms from the bush. Doing this allows the bush to continue blooming. Otherwise, the rose will go to seed and much blooming will cease. Training for pruning and deadheading will be provided. Men and women are invited to join in this rewarding endeavor; High school students are also welcomed.
