VBS 2026: Junkyard Redemption Was an Incredible Week!Let's Have a Celebration.... What an amazing week of VBS! Over five nights, 63 children gathered to discover the story of God's redemption—from creation to the new heaven and new earth—through worship, games, crafts, STEM challenges, Bible teaching, and small-group conversations. One of the greatest blessings of the week was watching relationships form across generations. Children (and volunteers) learned, laughed, created, and grew together while experiencing the love of Christ in tangible ways. We are especially grateful for our incredible team of 36 volunteers who gave their time, energy, creativity, and hearts to make the week possible. From decorating and registration to teaching, crafts, games, snacks, worship, security, and clean-up, every role mattered. The vision for VBS may begin with an idea, but it comes to life through faithful volunteers who serve with joy and dedication. A special word of appreciation goes to our outstanding youth leaders. Throughout the week, they modeled servant leadership, built meaningful connections with younger children, and demonstrated what it looks like to follow Jesus through action and example. They were truly one of the highlights of the week. Together, our VBS families also raised more than $950 for Open Arms Care Center! This year, those funds will help provide custom beach towels for the residents, offering both a practical gift and a reminder that they are loved and valued by our community. Thank you to every volunteer, family, donor, and prayer partner who helped make Junkyard Redemption such a meaningful week. To God be the glory! |

Small Travel Size Items Needed
As you travel this summer, please keep the New Life Center in mind. Small, unopened travel-size hygiene items are always greatly needed and appreciated. Donations such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, and similar personal care items can make a meaningful difference for individuals and families receiving support through the center. If you happen to collect extra items during your travels or hotel stays, consider setting them aside and bringing them to the church office. Your generosity and kindness help provide comfort, dignity, and care to those in need within our community. Thank you for continuing to share God’s love through your support and compassion.
