2026 Co-Mission CampGrow, Serve, and Engage! July 13-17 Co-Mission Camp is a free, week-long opportunity for 5th-12th graders to be the hands and feet of Christ through service and mission work in our community. This camp allows youth to experience what it means to serve with purpose, grow in faith, and lead with love. Throughout the week, we will work hard, serve joyfully, and have tons of fun! Each day will begin with a devotion to set our focus and end with reflection time to process what we've learned and experienced. Small Travel Size Items Needed
As you travel this summer, please keep the New Life Center in mind. Small, unopened travel-size hygiene items are always greatly needed and appreciated. Donations such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, and similar personal care items can make a meaningful difference for individuals and families receiving support through the center. If you happen to collect extra items during your travels or hotel stays, consider setting them aside and bringing them to the church office. Your generosity and kindness help provide comfort, dignity, and care to those in need within our community. Thank you for continuing to share God’s love through your support and compassion. Closed Campus EventsCreating Safe Spaces for Children and Youth As you read the weekly e-news or church calendar, you may notice that some activities are specifically promoted as CLP Kids or CLP Youth events. These events are typically designated as Closed Campus Events. This means that access to children's and youth ministry spaces is limited to registered participants and approved volunteers. You may occasionally notice that other activities are relocated or that guests are asked not to remain in children's ministry areas during these events. While we always seek to be welcoming, these practices reflect our commitment to providing a safe and trusted environment for every child entrusted to our care. Approved volunteers serving during Closed Campus Events complete CLP's Level One background screening and are trained in important safety practices, including two deep leadership and other child protection procedures designed to safeguard both children and volunteers. Thank you for partnering with us in creating environments where children and youth are free to grow, learn, and experience the love of Christ in spaces that are safe, trusted, and secure. |
