Let's all be thinking and praying about next Wednesday, November 20, when we'll host a "Friendsgiving" Turkey Dinner. Friendsgiving is an opportunity for us to reach out to people who might not have a place to go for Thanksgiving. Who will you invite to Friendsgiving? The Table@CLP is an intergenerational space where adults, kids, and teens can be themselves, share a meal, and grow together. Each Wednesday from 5:15 - 6:30 pm we enjoy a free dinner, live music, a story about Jesus and conversation. Please continue to bring friends; let us know if, after registering, you can't make it after all. Thank you! All are welcome at the table, there's a place just for you. A Message from the Board of Directors
Annual Congregational and Corporate Meetings November 17th at 11 am in Souers Community Hall The Church at Litchfield Park This year has flown by quickly and once again it’s time for the church’s annual meetings. As stated in our constitution and by-laws anyone may attend these meetings but only church members may vote, and a quorum must be present to conduct business. Therefore, we will not be streaming the meetings. The main purpose of the congregational meeting is to recognize those that have passed away; to install Deacon nominees; and to recognize individuals that serve at CLP. The main purpose of the corporate meeting is to elect members to the Board of Directors and to approve the church's annual operating budget for 2025. Current Nominees: Jack Sigler; Sarah Pearson; Jason Butler; Molly Alward Your Board of Directors and Pastoral staff are looking forward to seeing you on November 17th at 11 am in Souers Community Hall. Blessings, Marcy Clement President, Board of Directors |
