If you are considering joining our church family or simply want more information about The Church at Litchfield Park, please come to our brief membership orientation in Fireside Room South on Sunday, November 20, immediately following the 9:15am service.  New members will be received the following Sunday, November 27th, at any service.  If you have already been to an orientation session and would like to join or if you have any questions about the process please contact the church office at 623-935-3411 or info@clp.church.   

The annual meeting for the church will be on Sunday, November 20 at 11:45 a.m. in Souers Community Hall. We are installing new deacons, voting on the budget, and new officers. The meeting is open to everyone, but only church members may vote. Your attendance is important in the planning for the future of our church, and a quorum of the congregation is needed. The 2022 Annual Report was emailed to members. Copies are available at the link below, the sanctuary, and the church office if needed. 

Bring your nonperishable food items and join us in a celebration of thanks on Wednesday, November 23, at 6:30 pm for the 2022 Thanksgiving Eve Service. We will distribute all food items to St. Mary's Food Bank and Homeward Bound. See you there!

Join us for a fantastic time decorating the church and enjoying a delicious pancake breakfast on Saturday, November 26! Pancakes are served from 8-11am in Souers Community Hall, and decorating will occur at the same time. We will also play Christmas Carols, so join us for a festive and fun morning! Please let us know you're coming by signing up through the link below or in the Breezeway between worship services.

A group from our church will be walking in Christmas in the Park, a parade in Litchfield Park on Saturday, December 10. We are looking for walkers of all ages to be part of this parade, sharing our wonderful church with the community. Please wear red or green tops or Christmas clothes.  We will meet near the lake at 477 Old Litchfield Rd. The parade will end near the library in Litchfield Park. We will gather at 9:30 am, the parade begins at 10 am. There will be a signup sheet in the breezeway between services, or you can sign up online by clicking the link below.

Please join Women’s Fellowship in celebrating ’The Light of the World’ on December 10, 2-4pm, in Souers Hall.    

Enjoy an afternoon of delicious desserts, delightful music, and festive fellowship inspired by the Light of Christ.  There is no cost, but please bring 1-2 dozen of your favorite dessert to share (store purchased is fine!).  Dessert drop-off will be Friday, December 9, from 12-2pm or Saturday, December 10, from 8-10am.  This event is open to ladies of all ages!  Come, let us adore Him!     

Once again, we will be having our annual food drive in November. Let's do our part to help alleviate hunger around the state of Arizona. Please bring your nonperishable foods to church on Sunday, November 6, 13, or 20, at the church office, or to the Thanksgiving service on November 23. Bring them to the front of the church and place them on the steps. The offering taken at the Thanksgiving service will also be donated to St Mary's. With your caring support, we can provide nutritious food for those in need. The most needed items are canned goods, cereal, peanut butter, rice, beans, and pasta.

This year our Christmas Angel Tree gifts will be given to Homeless Youth Connection. We will be giving them gift cards in the amounts of $15.00, $25.00 and $50.00. The tree will be set up November 27, December 4 and 11. There will also be a list of suggested places to purchase these cards.  All gift cards will need to be given back to the church by December 11.  You can also write a check to the church for angel tree and the committee will get the gift card for you. 

Expect minor traffic delays from December 1 - February 28 as the City of Litchfield Park continues construction on the new Village Parkway. Parking should be minimally affected, and we will keep you updated as we learn more.
