On Saturday, October 25, 71 women gathered for “All I Want for Christmas Is Lots of Presence,” a creative and joy-filled event hosted by Women@CLP. As the holiday season approaches—a time that can easily become rushed and overwhelming—the afternoon provided space to slow down, reconnect, and refocus hearts on what matters most: being present with God and with others.

The theme centered on the idea of spreading “SONshine” through small, intentional acts of kindness. Throughout the afternoon, women rotated through five creative stations, making thoughtful handmade gifts designed not to keep, but to give away—tokens of encouragement, gratitude, and love to share with others in the coming weeks.

Each woman left with a bag filled with handmade items and a list of simple ideas to carry the message forward throughout November—and even throughout the year. Suggestions ranged from leaving a note of encouragement on a neighbor’s doorstep, to delivering cocoa kits to a teacher, to offering a prayer or word of hope to someone in need.

The beautiful charcuterie table, themed “The Table of Abundance,” offered a time of fellowship midway through the event, followed by the Hallmark-inspired movie Random Acts of Christmas. The film mirrored the day’s message: that love grows stronger and becomes contagious when we choose generosity, kindness, and presence.

Through laughter, creativity, and heartfelt conversation, the Women@CLP community was reminded that Christmas isn’t about what we give or get—it’s about how we show up with love, grace, and light in a busy world.

Dear Church Family,

As we look ahead to another wonderful season of worship and fellowship, the Board of Directors is filled with gratitude for all that God is doing in and through our church. At our recent board meeting, we approved the 2026 Budget and a proposed organizational structure for the Council of Ministries and Board positions for 2026. Both items will be presented for congregational approval at our upcoming Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 11:15 AM.

Your voice and participation are vital as we prayerfully prepare for another year of ministry together. We invite you to come, listen, and be part of shaping the next chapter of God’s work at The Church at Litchfield Park.

We hope you’ll join your CLP family this Sunday for Communion Sunday. Following worship, stay and celebrate with us at our annual Festival@CLP—an afternoon filled with burgers, hotdogs, live music, games, and great fellowship! The Festival is from 11-1pm, and then you can head over to the Square, where Litchfield Park will be hosting their fall arts and crafts fair. Sunshine (and lots of SONshine) is on calendar!

Come hungry, come joyful, and come ready to celebrate the goodness of God together. We can’t wait to see you there!

The Table@CLP is a weekly dinner hosted by The Church at Litchfield Park, where people gather every Wednesday night for a meal and community time. This event is created to be a welcoming atmosphere where people can connect, share a meal, and build relationships. "The Table" symbolizes the idea of coming together to enjoy food, fellowship, and conversation.

Come enjoy a delicious turkey dinner at The Table @ CLP, and then join us as we assemble towels filled with essential toiletries to bless those in need at the New Life Center.

Volunteers Needed to Help Pack Food!
We are looking for volunteers to assist with packing food for a great cause. Join us as we come together to make a difference!

• Meeting Time: 7:45 AM at the church
• Carpool: We will carpool to the event location
• Session: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
• Return Time: We’ll be back at the church by 12:00 PM

Looking for a fun productive way to spend a Saturday afternoon? Join us as we serve at St. Mary's Food Bank on November 8. We will meet at 11:15 am in the church parking lot and carpool to the St. Mary's Food Bank facility in Phoenix. We will be filling emergency food boxes from 12 – 2pm. Don't forget to wear closed toe shoes and long sleeved shirts:)

TheShop@CLP is open every Saturday this from 8am - 12pm with lots to choose from! Check out our many household goods, furniture, clothing items, shoes, collectibles, and jewelry offerings. This community outreach helps us serve others in our community, our nation, and around the world.

TheShop@CLP gladly accepts new and used donations from 8am-11am Friday’s. We kindly ask that you refrain from leaving donations outside in order to avoid theft,  or damage. We greatly appreciate your contribution to our mission!
