Week of Caring and PrayerGatherings on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday Dear Church Family, Sundays@CLP are wonderful times of worshipping, learning, and growing together. Yet, as busy as Sundays are, it can be difficult to find, and show, the kind of prayerful support and caring that we have in our CLP church family. This week, the pastoral staff wishes to highlight three special times we can come together to give and receive love and care, and to pray for one another. Tuesday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Please join us in the Sanctuary our weekly Ignite! time of quiet prayer from 11:30 - 12:30, with communion served by a pastor starting at noon. Wednesday from 5:15 to 6:30 pm. Let's gather at The Table@CLP, our weekly dinner church where we can sit, share a meal, and support one another. This week we'll take special time to support one another in prayer. This Friday starting at 5:30 pm. Join us in the Sanctuary for an evening of guided prayer, mutual support, and informal singing. Your pastors are in the office on Tuesday through Thursday this week; anyone in need of prayer or support is welcome to call the office to make an appointment. If you happen to be in the area, try dropping by. We welcome you and are here for you. I plan to be in the office this week on Friday afternoon as well. Here's a number for you to call or text me: 805-330-1926. If I do not pick up, rest assured that I check this number regularly and will return your message as soon as possible. Feel free to email me using the button below. A note on requesting support via CLP Cares is below. Yours in Christ,
Rev. Ted Brandt Senior Pastor The Church at Litchfield Park

Sunday's sermon and much moreSpecial video The video starts with an interactive time of sharing CLP happenings featuring all three of our pastors at the 8:30 am service, continuing with congregational singing. The 10 am sermon features detailed teaching on spiritual gifts and concludes with an excerpt from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous 1963 speech. The video continues with a prayer on the occasion of the presidential inauguration and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Lastly, you will see and hear our worship band, shot with a different camera and featuring higher quality audio than we have on our live stream. This might be a nice video to share with friends as a way of letting them know what CLP is all about. For more infomation visit:

Who's part of Walk to Emmaus?93 year-old Sally Allen Newall Dear Church Family, Last Friday, I attended the Walk to Emmaus Community Gathering in Sun City. When Cathy picked me up from the evening meeting, I invited her to come inside to meet the amazing person I had just been both surprised and blessed to meet. When I introduced myself to the group as the Senior Pastor of CLP, a woman from the crowd asked "Which church in Litchfield Park? After I answered, the woman rushed over to me, put her hand on my shoulder, and said "When did you become the pastor?" She then introduced herself as Sally Allen Newall, daughter of Red Allen. Red Allen was the first golf pro at the Wigwam. As Sally and I talked after the meeting, I learned that she was a part of CLP as a child, even before the original sanctuary was built. Sally, now living in Sun City, still golfs, although she said that because of her macular degeneration, she has "a girl" come with her to find the balls after she hits them. I asked Sally if she'd like to visit us and she said yes, and that an evening would work best. We hope to invite Sally to The Table@CLP sometime soon and have her share some stories with us. We'll let you know when we can schedule Sally to come. If anyone feels like they could pick Sally up in Sun City on a Wednesday afternoon, please let me know. I'd be happy to drive her home after The Table. Sally shared with me that Walk to Emmaus is very special to her and that she hopes everyone at CLP will consider going on a Walk, which is a three-day spiritual growth experience. CLP members Chanca Morrell, Joe Charles and Carolann Sachs have all been on a Walk to Emmaus. Feel free to speak with any of them, or me, to hear more. The men's walk with Pastor Kris is March 27-30, with the women's walk with Pastor Brenda happening April 3-6. Click the button below to express your interest in learning more and perhaps becoming a pilgrim on the Walk to Emmaus in March or April. In Christ, Pastor Ted For more infomation visit:

Feed My Starving ChildrenSaturday, February 15, 2025 Every year, millions of children die from preventable causes such as pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria and undernutrition. Hunger is still causing nearly half of deaths in children under 5 years old. From this data, we estimate at least 6,200 children die each day from causes related to undernutrition. This is heartbreaking. Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) believes hope starts with food. As a Christian nonprofit, FMSC is dedicated to seeing every child whole in body and spirit. FMSC works with food distribution partners that stay with communities for the long haul, empowering them to move from relief to development. Volunteers Needed to Help Pack Food!
