Dear Church Family,

Cathy and I ask that we all pause and pray for Los Angeles. Many of us here in AZ have family and friends in LA; stories of loss abound.

My eldest daughter Tia lives in LA; she is safe (yet Dad hopes she decides to leave).  Cathy lived in Los Angeles for many years before relocating here to Arizona. Her remote job is based in LA; one co-worker's extended family lost all their homes.  The photo above depicts the smoking embers of Cathy's friend’s home that burned to the ground; she and her husband have three small children.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Congregational Q & A on Sunday, January 19 at 11 am in Souers Community Hall.  To help the board and pastors research and prepare their responses, please let us know in advance what's on your heart.  We'd like to learn how we are doing in equipping you, the congregation, for our work as ministers of Christ.

Nursery is available for children from newborns to 4 years old at all worship services. Check-in is in the breezeway between classrooms 4 and 5. 

What if we all decided to volunteer at CLP at least once each month during 2025?  We have many kinds of opportunities to serve the Lord at CLP for persons of all abilities.  CLP ministries are provided to the church and community with the help of dedicated volunteers.  We are the church, together!
