Here's yesterday's sermon, reflecting on questions like, Who am I? Who am I becoming?

The Table@CLP is an intergenerational space where adults, kids, and teens can be themselves, share a meal, and grow together.  Each Wednesday from 5:15 - 6:30 pm we enjoy a free dinner, live music, a story about Jesus and conversation.

The 3F Club: Faith, Food, and Fellowship

Look to the New Year for a great new fellowship opportunity!  You’ll  have the chance to sign up to join with couples and singles of all ages to create a dinner club.  You will then be paired with three other family units made up of couples or singles.  Once a month for the following four months, each couple or individual in your personal “club” will host dinner, and other members of your club will assist.  This will give folks the opportunity to meet in the comfort of someone’s home instead of a restaurant to share a meal.  Each family unit will have the opportunity to serve as host.

We’ll join together to create intimate groups, get to know each other better, enjoy a little food, and drink, some fellowship, develop deeper, more meaningful relationships, and share the love of God together.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Congregational Q & A on Sunday, January 19 at 11 am in Souers Community Hall.  To help the board and pastors research and prepare their responses, please let us know in advance what's on your heart.  We'd like to know how we are doing in equipping you, the congregation, for our work as ministers of Christ.  Therefore, not only would we like to hear questions and concerns, but affirmations and gratitudes as well.

We live in a world that is drowning in information while starving for wisdom. Think about it. We have access to limitless information at our fingertips, but has all of this information made us wise? Knowledge does not equal wisdom.

Welcome to Proverbs: The Wise, The Fool, The Wicked—a seven-week study through the book of Proverbs. As we look to this ancient text of wisdom literature, may we come to discover the true source of wisdom: God’s Word. We’re not looking for more information. We are pursuing transformation.

Without God’s wisdom, we will not be able to navigate this world well. So, let’s learn to treasure the wisdom of God. Let’s learn how to walk in wisdom in a world of folly. May God’s voice be the loudest voice in our lives, leading, instructing, and informing us of truth.

Join us on Thursday nights, January 23–March 13, from 5:30–7:00 pm for this 7-week journey. The cost is $18 to cover the book and simple snacks. In a world overflowing with information, come discover how God’s wisdom can truly transform our hearts and guide our steps every day.

In seven sessions, Seamless covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Participants in this study will gain an overarching understanding of the fundamental layout and meaning of the Bible.

If you are a part of Judy's Life Group, you do NOT need to register. If you are new this session, there are five slots available!

The cost of this study is $20 (price of book).

Homework: Come prepared to discuss the Upper Room devotional for January 22, 2025, however, we will be changing our devotional time to someone different each month. The devotion leader can select from The Upper Room or from something else they'd like to share.  We'll put the names in a dish and draw for February at the January luncheon. Thought it would be fun to share this task and learn from one another.
