October 5th Wednesday Night DinnerMark your calendars for our monthly dinner on October 5 at 5:15 p.m., with meat loaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, and dessert. Wednesday Night Dinners are the first Wednesday of the month. For the remaining Wednesday night fellowships, you are encouraged to bring your own food or snacks, and CLP will provide drinks. Prayer Team Kicks Off Thursday!Join us on Thursday, October 6th at 5:30pm for our first Prayer Team meeting of the fall! We meet every other Thursday to pray for our church, our nation, and our world. You will be greeted quietly at each session, with light music playing in the background. The prayer leader for the day then begins the session. You do not have to pray aloud to attend. |

"God's Own Heart" Series Starts Sunday!Join us in worship this week as we begin a seven-week sermon series focused on God's Own Heart. We will read 1 & 2 Samuel throughout the series, as well as parts of 1 Chronicles. Titles include: Chosen by God, Slaying Giants, Chased by Enemies, Victories & Defeats, David & Bathsheba, Sin’s Consequences, and Finishing Well. This week we focus on what it means to be Chosen by God through a reading of 1 Samuel 16:1-13. Passages will be discussed in more depth during our weekly Bible studies, Overflow, and CLP Kids. Fall Festival is October 23rdJoin us on Sunday, October 23, for a spooktacular time at the 2022 Fall Festival! Trunk-or-treat begins at 5pm. The 6pm DJ Giveaway includes $25 gift certificates for four categories: best car design, best costume for adults (18+), best costume for youth (grades 6-12), and best kids costume (newborn-5th grade)! We will also have food trucks, a free photo booth, and face painting. Sign up as a trunk-or-treat car, an event volunteer, or a contestant. It's sure to be a THRILLER of an evening - come join us!
