Finding Our Way Through the Worthy LambRevelation 5:1-13 Dear Church at Litchfield Park family, On Sunday, we explored the message found in Revelation 5:1-13 (NIV). This passage takes us on a journey into the heart of heavenly worship, revealing the glorious scene before the throne of God. In this vision, John witnesses a scroll in the right hand of the One seated on the throne, sealed with seven seals. A mighty angel proclaims with a loud voice, asking who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals. No one in heaven or on earth is found worthy, and John is overcome with sorrow. But then, one of the elders reassures him, proclaiming that the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. The Lamb, looking as though it had been slain, stands at the center of the throne. The Lamb, with seven horns and seven eyes, takes the scroll from the right hand of the One on the throne. This act of taking the scroll initiates a breathtaking display of heavenly worship. The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fall before the Lamb, each holding harps and golden bowls full of incense, which represent the prayers of God's people. They sing a new song, declaring the Lamb's worthiness because, through His sacrifice, He redeemed people from every tribe, language, people, and nation. The angels join in, and finally, every creature in heaven and on earth unites in praise, glorifying the One who sits on the throne and the Lamb. Let us reflect together:
Attached are the three Psalms Pastor Lynne shared with us on Sunday. Take the time to read and explore them. Lynne suggested four steps for deeper reflection:
As we consider these questions and reflect on Psalms 148, 149, and 150, may the Holy Spirit illuminate our hearts and minds. Let us continually surrender our crowns of earthly achievements and accolades before the throne of God, acknowledging His supreme worthiness and sovereignty. As one body in Christ, let us cultivate a spirit of worship and surrender. May our lives reflect our awe and reverence for our holy God. May our worship continually offer praise, adoration, and surrender. May we declare the worthiness of God to receive all glory, honor, and power. And as we worship, may our lives be transformed and empowered to fulfill God's purposes in this world. For more infomation visit: http://clp.church/blog/finding-our-way-through-the-worthy-lamb

Mission Successful! Our Missions Team is Back and Feeling Blessed to Serve Matthew 5:13-16 "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Thank you for being salt and light and representing Christ's church and The Church at Litchfield Park with grace and love! For more infomation visit:
