The Board of Directors identified the need for a Senior Pastor Search/Call Committee, and the Human Resources representative on the Board, Phyllis Nelson, was appointed to serve as Chair.
Volunteers were invited from the congregation, and additional individuals were recommended by the Board based on their interest, diversity, and commitment to the process. All who volunteered or were recommended were contacted individually.
The resulting committee reflects a range of backgrounds within our church, including different demographics, lengths of membership, worship service attendance, and involvement in church life.
In Christ,
Phyllis Nelson
Human Resources Chair
