Agua Fria is a local ministry that provides support, resources, and consistent care to individuals and families in need within our community. It is a place where practical needs are met, but more importantly, where dignity is restored, relationships are built, and the love of Christ is made visible in tangible ways.

Week after week, people come carrying real burdens—financial strain, food insecurity, uncertainty—and they are met by faithful volunteers who show up with compassion, steadiness, and a willingness to serve. This ministry matters because it meets people right where they are, offering not only help, but hope.

As a church, we have the opportunity to be part of that work in a consistent and intentional way.

Standard shifts are from 8am-12 pm, Monday-Friday at the Avondale location. Our goal is to have at least two people from CLP serving each week at Agua Fria, helping support their ongoing efforts and strengthening our partnership with this important ministry.

If you are looking for a practical way to live out your faith—to serve, to connect, and to be part of what God is doing in our community—this is a meaningful place to step in.

Thank you for continuing to be a church that not only gathers, but goes—serving with humility, generosity, and love.
