Open Arms continues to be a place of hope and growth for children and young adults in South Africa. We rejoice with them that after nearly two years of relying on costly water deliveries, the municipality has restored their water supply—a true answer to prayer! Eleven of their young adults are pursuing higher education in universities, trade schools, and local colleges, while the baby’s room is full with little ones under the age of two—proof that their ministry continues to meet real needs. The children recently enjoyed welcoming local sports teams for soccer and netball tournaments, deepening their role as part of the surrounding community. Daily life at Open Arms may be simple—school, meals, play, and homework—but it is filled with God’s grace and steady provision.

As CLP looks forward to celebrating Open Arms’ 20th anniversary with a group trip in October 2026, let us be faithful now to pray for these children and young adults, and to find ways to give so that Open Arms can keep providing love, stability, and opportunity in Jesus’ name.
