CLP Youth: Growing in Faith, Serving in Love, Engaging in God's Mission
At The Church at Litchfield Park, our CLP Youth program is centered on three core principles: growing in faith, serving in love, and engaging in God's mission. We invite youth to be a part of this journey as they deepen their relationship with God, connect with each other, and live out their faith in meaningful ways.
Sundays at 10:00 AM - Grow in Your Faith
Youth begin by attending the 10:00 AM service together, where they engage in worship and hear the message. Following the service, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we meet to unpack the sermon, ask questions, and go deeper into foundational Christian doctrines. This time is designed to help youth reflect on how God’s Word applies to their lives and to encourage them to grow in their understanding and faith.
Building Community - Serve in Love
After a time of discussion, we foster a sense of community through interactive games, Bible study, devotionals, and sharing testimonies. We believe that building strong relationships is essential to spiritual growth. Each month, we enjoy fellowship meals, often through our 'Appy Hour,' where we bring our favorite appetizers to share while gathering in study and conversation.
Monthly Serve Opportunities - Engage in God’s Mission
Our CLP Youth program also emphasizes living out our faith by serving others. Through monthly serve opportunities, youth are encouraged to actively engage in God's mission, demonstrating Christ's love in practical ways. These service projects help youth to see the impact of their faith in action and understand their role in God’s greater plan.
